Christmas Shopping Trip
We are planning a trip to Columbus, OH to do some Christmas shopping at the Easton and Polaris Malls. The date of the trip is November 19th. Yes, we know that it is on a Sunday and we already made plans to attend a church in Westerville, OH. Robin Weir is a minister there and several past OVU students currently attend there. They also have a young adult ministry and they are planning on going with us and show us around, so that will be nice. We will have to leave pretty early to get to the service on time. I think we were looking at 7:15 AM at the latest, but that is not for certain. We are planning on carpooling or even taking the church bus if needed. Contact Ryan or Jessie if you have any questions. Guys' Night/Girls' Night
It's time to have the first Guys' Night/Girls' Night with the Young Adult Ministry! Read on to find out what we're doing!
Guys' Night
Guys will be going to Parkersburg High School this Friday, October 20 to watch the Big Reds play Cabell Midland High School. The game starts at 7:30. If you want to carpool to the game please meet at the Ice's by 6:45. Tickets will be purchased at the entrance gate for $5. Call Ryan @ (304)-580-1135 if you have any additional questions.
Girls' Night
Girls will be going to Applebee's on Thursday, Oct. 26 for appetizers and/or desserts. We will meet at Applebee's @ 9:00 pm. Call Jessie @(304)-580-1136 if you have any additional questions! We would love for all the ladies to be able to come and begin building, strengthening, and renewing friendships.
We hope everyone will try to come to the Guys' Night/Girls' Night activities! If you have any ideas or suggestions for these activities, let Ryan or Jessie Ice know. Have a great day!

Launching our ministry
We have just begun a ministry at the Grand Central Church of Christ focused on reaching young adults. We had a picnic on October 8 at Ryan and Jessie Ice's to kick off the ministry. We had about 25 people which was a great way to start off. Yesterday we kicked off our Community Group at the Ice's. We have decided to move Community Groups back to 1:30 instead of 1:00 to allow more time for everyone to grab lunch. Change of Plans!!! Community Groups will meet at the Ice's again on Sunday, October 22 at 1:30. Please plan on coming for a time of fellowship and study. We look forward to seeing you there! Oh, and don't forget about Sunday Morning Young Adult Bible Class in the basement at GC. We have been studying Philippians with Kevin Lombard. We would love for you to come!!!
